My Story
Born in Genova, Italy, I have always been connected to the cosmetology world through my uncle, a highly respected hairstylist in my hometown. Being raised so close to Milan, one of the world's most influential fashion and design capitals, allowed me to appreciate all art forms while opening my mind about beauty. As I was growing up, I was often fascinated to see how a simple outfit or a haircut can boost our spirits and self-esteem. I remember jumping into the opportunity to make my friends and cousins feel good about themselves through makeup and hairstyling.
As a teenager, I also liked to read about skincare and how to create face masks with ingredients that I could find in my kitchen. My friends and mom often ended up with a colorful and delicious face mask on the weekends. Years later, after earning a college degree, I had an opportunity to work for the cosmetic dental industry, where I learned about facial esthetics and the relationship between health, beauty, and confidence. At that point, I knew my calling was to focus on aesthetics and self-care.
My first opportunity into the beauty world was as a makeup artist with a fashion/beauty photographer in San Francisco. This experience helped me rediscover my passion for makeup artistry, so I initiated a venture as a makeup artist for advertising, bridal, fashion, and performing arts projects. As a makeup artist, I came across many cases where people would ask for recommendations regarding skin care, and it became clear that the foundation for beautiful makeup is healthy skin.
My passion for esthetics and interest in offering more to my clients inspired me to return to school and earn my aesthetician certification and license. I also achieved a lash artist certificate and received advanced training in Microblading. Moreover, I reached the Expert Level for Dermalogica, which gave me a deeper understanding of how to care for skin and the expertise to prevent and treat different conditions. I also founded Fiorito Beauty, a cosmetics line currently focused on cruelty-free, paraben-free, and talc-free formulas made in the USA.
Because of the ever-changing skincare/beauty industry, I am committed to staying informed with the latest technologies and cutting edge ingredients in skincare. I feel fortunate to have found a profession that I love, where I get to help my clients feel reinvigorated and achieve their skincare goals. I believe in offering only the best to everyone that visits my beauty bar, and there is no greater satisfaction than giving my clients a boost of confidence through the services I offer. I currently live in Manteca, California, with my amazing husband and lovely young daughter.
